Urban Fantasy's intriguing Incantation
Today I'm delighted to welcome author annamaria bazzi to my blog, together with her character Dolores, from the urban fantasy novel, Incantation Paradox. What a privilege. And as soon as I meet Dolores, I realize she's not at all as I might have imagined from that gorgeous image on the book cover...not at all as you might have imagined either, so please read on and welcome Dolores.
Good morning, my name is Dolores the main character from
Incantation Paradox, the first urban fantasy from annamaria bazzi. You might
have seen my picture on http://annamariasbooks.com,
but don’t be fooled, the person you see is actually Mona. I have beautiful
blond hair and gray eyes.
I cannot begin to tell you how disconcerting it was to wake
up in a young body belonging to a complete stranger. I’ll never wish that kind
of fear on anyone. Things got more complicated as I realized magic is real and
was used to create the blunder of a nightmare I was living through.
Most of all I missed my daughters, Ella and Chloe. But to be
fair I met the most wonderful man, Jason, a brain surgeon. Unfortunately, I
also met a very evil man, one I never want to encounter again as long as I
live—oops! Now I’m speaking in cliché.
What? You don’t believe in magic? Take my word, it’s real,
it’s around us, but those wielding magic do a good job hiding it from all those
who don’t possess it. Don’t laugh at me, read the story and find out for
yourself. I’m just trying to help annamaria with some of her guest posts.
I’m glad you are here and hopefully you are following the
blog tour, because annamaria made sure to present three different excerpts for
the tour, chapter 1, chapter 2, and chapter 3 for your enjoyment. She also went
out of her way to write a different guest post for all the hosts requesting
one. You shouldn’t be getting bored on this tour.
Well, I'm certainly not getting bored, Dolores. And I've loved having the chance to learn a little more about you. Thank you for visiting my blog. And good luck to annamaria with her tour.
Magic is an illusion. It
doesn’t really exist. Or does it?
A horrible car
accident destroys Dolores Reynard’s life. But instead of waking up in a
hospital bed, she awakens in a teenager’s body. Soon, she discovers she
is at the heart of the murderous mystery surrounding the death of Mona,
the young girl whose body she occupies. Caught between an evil greater
than she ever imagined and a wizard who heals her tattered heart, she is
forced to play a dangerous game of intrigue in the hopes of finding a
way to return to her previous life.

Although
born in the United States, Annamaria Bazzi spent a great deal of her childhood

strange country. Upon returning to the states, she promised herself she would
speak without an accent. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit
Michigan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computers with a minor
in Spanish.
Annamaria
spent twenty years programming systems for large corporations, creating
