Writing a poem a day in April

Writers' Digest is posting a poetry prompt on http://blog.writersdigest.com/poeticasides/ each day in April. I guess it's sort of a competition, but with around a thousand entries a day I don't suppose I'll win anything. Still, it's a fun challenge, and there's lots of good poems to read. A poem a day? How ambitious! I'm to the point, though, where writing anything is ambitious. Now that my books are released, maybe I can start thinking about what's really important in life . . . chocoate!

 Today I'm delighted to welcome Kathryn Elizabeth Jones, author of " I walked with Jesus ," to my blog. I very much enjoyed her short stories retelling miracles from the life of Christ - we clearly have faith and short fiction in common with each other.  I loved how historical, real, and relevant Kathryn's stories felt.
